Welcome!
A little bit about me...
I graduated with honors from the Massage Therapy program at Ashmead College September of 2007.
People always ask me how I came to be a Massage Therapist. The story goes like this.
I was a single mother of three, working a job that I was miserable doing. I felt like I was stuck with no way out and it was not a good feeling. I had thought about doing massage over the years but was busy raising my kids and taking care of my family. I had heard of a massage school in my neighborhood and decided to look into what it would take to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. Upon visiting Ashmead College I decided that massage school seemed like a lot of fun and just what I wanted to do. So my journey began!
It was exciting, scary, fun and challenging. It taught me that I can do anything no matter how impossible it seems. I was lucky to have the support of my family and friends to keep me motivated. I have learned so much and met so many wonderful people. I love what I do and I am always happy to help someone that needs a healing touch, stress relief or just to relax after a long day, week or month.

My massage...
My massage technique is a mix of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Sports Type massage. I also use Aromatherapy, Cupping Therapy and Gua Sha in my treatments. I like to work the muscles and attachments to get them to release and move the way they are supposed to. Nothing too fancy, just my own blend of styles customized for you and whatever it is you need me to work on. If you like a deeper massage, I can do that. If you are more sensitive, I can use a lighter touch. If you just want certain areas worked on, I will do my best to relieve as much as I can during our time together.
Communication between therapist and client is the best way to get the most out of your massage. I want you to leave feeling as if you got exactly what you needed from your treatment.
I hope to meet you soon! Thanks for your time,
Sincerely,
Amy
